Our Ministries
Ministries at First Presbyterian Church of Hawley
The First Presbyterian Church of Hawley ministers to its members and to the larger community. Some of our ministries include; youth ministries such as Sunday School and Vacation Bible School and adult ministries such as bible study sessions, pre-marital counseling, and women's ministries.
Kid's Ministry
Sunday School takes place each Sunday at 10 a.m. Children will attend worship for a short time and then move into a classroom to learn about how much Jesus loves them. We also offer Vacation Bible School each summer. Please see the Vacation Bible School Tab under the Ministries tab during the Spring for more information.
Marriage Preparations
Pre-marital counseling is available to couples looking to be married at the First Presbyterian Church of Hawley or another location nearby. Please fill out the Pre-Marital Worksheet form below and email to fpoffice@ptd.net or fax to

The Good News Cafe'
The Goods News Cafe' is open to the public the second and fourth Saturday of each month and serves a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The luncheon is free although donations are gladly accepted.
Bible Study
The adult bible study group meets every Thursday in Samford House at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome.
AA and NA Meetings
The First Presbyterian Church of Hawley makes space available every week for Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous groups to meet in Blough Hall. AA meets Mondays and Wednesdays at noon and NA meets Tuesday and Friday evenings at 8 p.m. The Women's NA meeting meets on Wednesdays at 8 PM.
